TREKKING AND WALKING IN SIERRA NEVADA With our trekking program "Integral" in
Sierra Nevada, you will discover a singular experience. This is an
itinerary, starting with a first peak of more than 3000m in the east and
finishing on the last peak with more than 3000m in the west. 5 days and
4 nights throughout Sierra Nevada from east to wes, crossing highest
peaks and old beautiful glacier valleys. Five days walking during 8 - 9
hours on altitudes between 2500m, 2900m and 3482m. A support vehicle will pick you up from Granada to our mountain refuge. Our guides will receive you there. Accommodation, briefing and dinner - first night in our comfortable mountain refuge above the ski resort. Day 2. Postero Alto – The Calderetas Lakes (3100m) We ascent our first peak with more than 3000 meters,

| Day 3. Las Calderetas Lakes – Refugio Poqueira (2500m)
We begin today ascending
to the third highest peak of Sierra Nevada, La Alcazaba (3366m). From
its summit we will walk descending to 2900m to the famous Valley of the
Seven Lagoons, for lunch. Then we ascend again to do the highest peak of
the Iberian Peninsula, Mulhacén Mountain (3482m). From here, during 2h
30min we descend to Refugio Poqueira. Day 4. Refugio Poqueira – Albergue Universitario (2500m) Heading in the Rio Seco
direction we will climb today two others high peaks, Cerro de Los Machos
(3288m) and Veleta (3398m), finishing the day descending to a
comfortable place to spend the night, Albergue Universitario (2500m). Day 5. Albergue Universitario – Rio Lanjarón (2300m) Recuperating altitude to arrive again to our basic walking line of three thousand meters, this day we will do the two last high peaks, Tajo de Los Machos (3088m) and El Caballo (3013m, walking and descending along Lanjarón Valley arriving a point at 2300m where a 4 wheel drive support vehicle will pick up the group, to go to Granada, or to the Alpujarra region.
