This self guided itinerary is recommendable for any age and ability.It does not require special mountain experience nor any climbing knowledge.

Starting from Pampaneira's Liberty Square (Plaza de la Libertad) you climb the Station street (Calle Estación) to the upper part of the village, where the track to Bubión begins. The first part of the track passes even leveled ground before it follows the eastern wall of the gorge climbing up to Bubión (45 min).

Arriving Bubión we you continue towards the church, crossing the central square diagonally, leaving the white village direction to the local sports area (if you need to ask for the way, ask for "polideportivo.

Just next to a crucifix beside the track, you turn to the right descending to the Poqueira river. Passing to the other side of the river by a bridge called "Puente del Molino(mill bridge) to climb up the hill for about 50 m. When you arrive at the bifurcation, take the left path, which ascents for a while to start descending then down to the river again, surprising you with excellent panoramic views of the countryside and the high mountains above of you.
